As promised, here’s research on the direction for designtrack’s Instagram:

  1. Considering different aesthetics, looks and feels;
  2. Considering content types.

I’d suggest approaching this systematically and strategically by starting with research. I think AJ&Smart are doing a good job and there’s a lot we can learn from them. Both in terms of the design of their Instagram presence and their content.

!important AJ&Smart are at the right level of gravitas. This is smart content for smart people who want to be smarter. ← This is where I’m heading with designtrack, it’s now about much more than UX.

They have a strong colour palette (you can tell it's them when you scroll through a busy timeline).

That's a lesson right there: We need strong colour ways, this might be what you’ve been doing in the files you’ve sent, but it could be three different colour ways (i.e. more like Yoganotes).
